What we keep, and what we don't

Last updated 2026-11-04. This policy is for bestcompostbins.com and its brand subdomains.

Reaching us by email

The only address we publish is [email protected]. If you write to us, we see your message and your email address, and we use them to reply. We don't add you to a list, and we don't pass your message to anyone else. If you want your email and any messages deleted, write to the same address and ask. We'll remove them.

Server logs

Our servers record standard request logs for security: things like IP address, browser type, and the page requested. These logs help us spot abuse and fix breakage. They are not used to build profiles of visitors, and they are not sold. They age out on a normal schedule.

The catalog picker and your browser

If you use the catalog picker, your choices are stored in your browser's localStorage. That data stays on your device. It is not sent to our servers, and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

California residents

We do not sell personal information as that term is used under the CCPA. We don't have a list of customers to sell, and we don't trade email addresses for money. If you are a California resident and want to ask about your data, email [email protected].

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Asking us to delete something

Send a note to [email protected] with what you want removed. If it's an email you sent us, we'll delete it. If it's a log entry, we'll do what we can within the normal retention window. We'll tell you what we did.

Visit counts

This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
